As we were running our Artist Program, we watched each artist walk out our door with a blank canvas, and come back with a whole little world, an entire unique reality, painted onto this little 8” x 8” square. It was during this time that we came across a quote that really struck a chord in us:

“A painter paints his pictures on canvas, but musicians paint their pictures on silence.”

It was then we knew that we had to run a Music Program.

What was Involved?

After seeing how much Artists enjoyed floating twice in one week, we decided to step it up a notch. Our musicians were put into an immersive float regimen of 6 floats, all done over the course of 2 weeks. They had up to a month from their first float to create a piece of music.

We now use this music in our float tanks to let people know their sessions have come to an end, creating an entirely float generated experience.
